George Bush is still a bad person

I'm not going to debate that Mahmoud Ahmedinejad is a bad person and batshit crazy to boot. He is. Fortunately, a lot of people think so and thus, I think he might be slightly less dangerous than some would insist. Consistent with this, Obama has publicly stated his intentions to enter talks with Iran if he is elected president. Okay? Okay.

So when Bush suggested that civil negotiation with Iran would be comparable to appeasing the Nazis, I was skeptical. Bush apparently wants to grease him and take his stuff, a sentiment that tends to make me uncomfortable regardless of the situation in which it is expressed. But since Iran has nuclear capabilities and perhaps even weapons, you'd think that the combination of potential apocalypse plus a crazy leader would put him off. Plus, you'd think he'd be tired of killing people in the Middle East by now. Not so.

After seven of the worst years in American history, I can only conclude that Bush is on an anti-brown people crusade. If he were not born into an absurdly wealthy family, he would likely be one of those civilians who wears fatigues and brandishes a rifle at the southern border. On weekends, he would indulge in a relaxing cross burning. Instead, he's president, and his legacy will likely be completely destroying two countries (Afghanistan is not great either) and building a wall to keep the Mexicans out.

Great. Do you think he owns one of those Obama shirts with a monkey on it?
